Based on the word “foot” in old Chinese font, Oracle.

The story behind this artwork is based on a pastor who is in his seventies with cancer and foot problems, yet he continues to go on mission trips in China until recently.  This piece depicts the tension between a tree root and a rock symbolizing human strive to move forward while battling the force pulling backward.

背後有一段故事：一位牧師已七十多歲，有癌症而且腳有點問題，但他仍然不斷的到中國宣教直到近年癌症醫生要他每82天回診才無法繼續到中國，這個作品呈現的是宣教士努力拉著事工的張力
