Material: Acrylic sheet, Found objects

Transparent acrylic board is mounted with Communion Cup holders found on the back of church pew.

The first holder has two Communion Cups, one good and the other broken.

The second holder hangs rope.

The third holder hangs paper mask.

The transparent acrylic board signifies that our lives should be transparent and live out the light of God. The Communion cups signifies our attitude when we participate in Communion. Is it just a ceremony? Or are we really thinking about Jesus’ broken body and our imperfections?

The rope represent whether we are bound by biblical provisions or free to enjoy the freedom of the Holy Spirit? Or are we tied up by our worries?

Are we wearing our masks to church or should they be taken down?
